Begin again June 12, 2006

Well…wasn’t that break fun?! This summer is all about the studying and I hope to keep up the blog with greater regularity. The lack of posting in the semester wasn’t indicative of lack of work being done – to the contrary I knocked out both my Aristotle and Epicurus sections of the reading list. I didn’t have time to type up those notes, though. I hope to do that in the next couple of weeks…but those will be interspersed with notes from the readings that I’m doing currently.

I’ve also switched from a blogger account to a wordpress account. I like the options available on wordpress that simply aren’t available (at least easily) on blogger.

Also, if anyone who reads this (and god knows that’s likely no one) knows how to post things in Greek fonts, I’d gratefully receive tips. I’m starting to hate doing translaterations.

Just like that; copy&paste your Greek text onto your WordPress editing interface. To be able to do that, you first have to uncheck the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” box, which, incidentally, is located on the southwest corner of this page. Don’t forget to visit Florida when you’re done, and hit “Update Profile” to, well, update your profile.

I hope this was what you meant by “how to post things in Greek fonts.” Hope this helps. Let me know in case this wasn’t what you seeketh after.

All Hail Aristotle,
Koray

Awesome! Thanks so much, Koray, you saved me from a lot of transliteration angst!

Glad to hear that.

See, platonicrelationship, you have readers. So keep it coming.

P.S. You read The Philosopher. Ever readThe Commentator? While I’m not sure about the scope of your philosophical endeavors, I believe it’d be the best way to consummate Aristotle.
